Trying to figure out what happened in R14 --- bug report 1100.

I have an R14 package set from March 20-25 and kopete fails to open there too. Thus the bug seems to have been introduced between 3.5.13 and March 20-25. As kopete works in 3.5.13.1, we eliminate patches that were back ported. If only there was a way to diff a list of the current commit web page and all back ported patches between 3.5.13 and March 20-25.
