you have a plan to rename packages kio-apt, kio-locate and kio-umountwrapper? If so, will be also renamed GIT repositories?
By now kio-apt/debian/rules and kio-umountwrapper/debian/rules in tde-packaging refer to tdeio-* names, but changelog files still contains current kio-* names. That's probably wrong, but I do not know what version is intended as a future right.

That should be done in concert with the GIT repository name change. Actually I think there is at least one other name change that needs to be performed (knetworkmanager9 in GIT should be tdenetworkmanager) and one that should be performed (kpowersave-nohal to tdepowersave).
Let's concentrate on getting everything building properly now, then worry about the GIT name changes a bit later. :-)

I also noticed that some of the packages with -kio- in the name remained unchanged: + tdebase-kio-plugins-trinity + tdemultimedia-kio-plugins-trinity + tdepim-kio-plugins-trinity + tdesdk-kio-plugins-trinity + tdesvn-kio-plugins-trinity

Yes, good catch! Fixed in GIT hash e473251.
