When uninstalling on Ubuntu 14.04 there are some errors:

There may be some other errors.

update-alternatives is in /usr/bin and not in /usr/sbin $ whereis update-alternatives update-alternatives: /usr/bin/update-alternatives /usr/bin/X11/update-alter= natives /usr/share/man/man8/update-alternatives.8.gz
