All of the Makefiles include references to LIB_KUTILS, but the libraries were renamed to tdeutils*. As long as we are moving quickly with various renames at the moment, should we rename LIB_KUTILS -> LIB_TDEUTILS? I know this requires changes to all admin directories and complete rebuilds for everybody, but seems like the correct thing to do.

Incidentally, due to the archive rebuilds required, R14 release is pushed back to end of September 2013. I expect the first RC to be available in a couple of weeks, as long as no more admin/ changes are needed.

But LIB_KUTILS is far from the only one. Other candidates are LIB_KIO, LIB_KSPELL, LIB_KIMPROXY, LIB_KUNITTEST, LIB_KPARTS, LIB_KSYCOCA.
It is desirable to rename all these? If we fix one, it would probably be fixed all similar. What do you think?

How long would this take? I don't want to delay the rebuild past tomorrow night (08/31/2013). If they can't all be fixed in time, then fix none of them for R14.0 and we'll fix them for R14.1.

I'll do it.
Because the change must be reflected also in convert_existing_kde3_app_to_tde, I can use this script to update all modules.
The change relates to: + LIB_KDNSSD + LIB_KIMPROXY + LIB_KIO + LIB_KPARTS + LIB_KSPELL + LIB_KSYCOCA + LIB_KUNITTEST + LIB_KUTILS
If I missed some, please let me know.
