Hi, in Debian Buster I found out mp4v2 is missing - perhaps no one fixed a bug there, but amarok depends on libmp4v2-dev.
I am wondering if there is any solution to this?
thanks

Hi Emanoil, mp4v2 is now one of the extra dependencies in buster. You can get the package from Slavek's PTB. Cheers Michele

OK, I wanted to know if this is correct approach - I downloaded it from debian already.
Amarok remove ( https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=921127 ) argues "it's dead upstream and better alternatives exist."
mp4v2 has 9 ignored security issues ( https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/mp4v2 ) so if it is possible to modify it in order to Amarpk does not depend on mp4v2, then much better (Qt4/Qt5 Amarok versions do not depend on mp4v2).
Best regards!

I think if we want to remove this dependency, we need to open an issue in TGW for it.
