What is funny in this context: My .Xresources has
Xcursor.size: 48
in it and this is quoted by almost all applications but kmails window dividers.
I use Debian, Fedora, Mageia, openSUSE and *buntu with TDE. They're not consistent
in whether or which entries in /etc/Xresource*, ~/.Xdefaults or ~/.Xresources are
employed by TDE or KDE3 desktops. The existence of the empty entries in
startupconfig suggest to me that once upon a time someone started to setup a way
for KControl to manage cursors, but never found a way to finish that was
consistent among distros before upstream KDE switched to v4 or TDE was forked.
