Just a quick update. gcc 4.7.1 has it the testing repository for Arch Linux. This will hopefully allow a resolution of what was causing the race condition in tdelibs/tdebase leading to the kwrite crash on line-wrap. However, as is the Arch tradition, the chroot build environment is going though growing pains resulting from the recent updates to the Arch package manager 'pacman'. We will hopefully work though this in the next couple of days and have a new set of packages build on 4.7.1 to test.
Nothing like working on the leading (not bleeding) edge :)

It appears the archroot issues have been corrected, I just kicked off a fresh build of everything (today's sources) on gcc 4.7.1! So far it is churning through the TDE dependencies and doing well and just started TQT3. Hopefully by later tonight/tomorrow - we will know of the kwrite bug is fixed :)

I anticipate Slackware Current (the testing phase for the next release) to update to 4.7.1 Real Soon Now. When that happens I hope to build packages --- although I won't do that until we get complete the changes related to bug reports 843 and 1048. :-)

Not a bad start. We will wait on Tim's signal before working through the avahi-tqt and python-tqt issues. Perhaps Darrel's moc name change will help on a couple of the others. I'll test the kwrite crash in the morning.

I'm in the process of testing the kwrite crash. If it is fixed, then we are golden, however if it still crashes after building on gcc 4.7.1 -- we need an ALL-HANDS-ON-DECK push to find the cause.

Everything? I don't know for sure what you updated recently.
The avahi-tqt failure was fixed last night. That failure was caused by renaming qmake to tqmake. If you built tqt3 after commit 1ecf57d was pushed then you should not have to start from the beginning with tqt3. If you built tqt3 before that commit then you'll have to start from scratch.
The good news is I successfully built my full package run. Therefore any failures related to bug reports 843 and 1048 are resolved, at least with respect to all packages I build. You probably build two or three I don't build and they might still need attention. Of those you listed I built successfully:
kipi-plugins avahi-tqt gtk-qt-engine python-tqt tdegraphics tdesvn
With that said, I ran only a full build run against Slackware 13.1 32-bit. I have not yet run 64-bit or any recent Slackware versions. As I mentioned previously, I am waiting for Current to update to gcc 4.7.1 before testing that release (and testing kwrite/kate).

My git tree updates each morning at 0700 via a cron job, so I may have missed a commit or two. I'll pull a new tree and create new tarballs and try again. I'll have to check the TQt3 commit. It would have been built with TQt3 sources from 0700 yesterday...

Commit 1ecf57d6 is dated 2012-06-19 16:47:41. Start from scratch. :-)

Takes me a little longer with 100 packages. Mostly I only run with Slackware 13.1 32-bit because that is what I use. But when I test a build run for the other two releases, which include 64-bit, that makes for 6 runs times about 7 hours. I have two dual core machines, but only one is configured to build the other 6 runs. There is no way to do any of this fast. :-)
Glad to hear about the 4.7.1 fix. I have to wait until that update arrives for Slackware.

Whew!
Just updated my Arch virtualbox environment to the latest 3.4.3 kernel, libusbx and systemd-tools (replaces udev - udev merged into systemd-tools upstream) and TDE still runs fine :) Had me worried :)
