halloleallemitanand,
the patch to rename kdeeject -> tdeeject, should be applied to "k"dedesktop too,see Screenshots:
(btw shouldn't it be tdedesktop?).
Greetings Werner

Hi Werner, what version of TDE are you running? I tried to replicate the same behavior on my system (Debian/Jessie, development TDE version), but everytime the disk was ejected properly. I tried audio CD, video DVD, data CD and data DVD. As a note, my right-click popup menu is slightly different from yours: the eject action is not in a submenu but on the main popup menu.
Cheers Michele

PS: On a site note: I tried to do-release-upgrade to ubuntu trusty ( 14.04 LTS ) but can't because of a bunch of broken dependencies of the sort kde-...-trinity. Those are referenced in the description as transition packages. I don't know what to do now.

Hi Werner, I may be wrong, but those kde-...-trinity dependencies let me think that perhaps you have some left-over files from previous 3.5.13.x versions. Is removing all TDE, clear /opt/trinity and reinstall TDE an option for you? If so it may be worth trying: 1) remove TDE and clear /opt/trinity 2) update ubuntu to 14.04 3) reinstall TDE
Cheers Michele

I found the problem: in the DVD-Rom.desktop - file there was the program written as 'kdeeject'.

Thanks for the follow up Werner. I double checked to make sure the R14 version was correct, and in fact it was. That's way I could not replicate the problem on my system. Cheers Michele
