I have libical 0.46 installed. I do not have libcaldav or libcarddav installed. This error
message seems related to libical and not the latter two.

installed. This error message seems related to libical and not the latter
two.
Can you try building this one without the -j4 flag; i.e. do a non-parallel
build? It looks like some stuff is building out of order.
