Very nice :D Although I haven't seen any ALT Linux people here... (Maybe they'll show up soon :P)

As you can see they added about 15 patches to 3.5.12, if to only count kdebase package: http://packages.altlinux.org/en/Sisyphus/srpms/kdebase/spec
and also about 10 to kdelibs: http://packages.altlinux.org/en/Sisyphus/srpms/kdelibs/spec
I suggest to analyze them and port if necessary.

Many of these patches are also from other distributions too. We will have to make sure what we are grabbing.

By the way, it seems they used old specs from KDE3.5.10 for Trinity without much change. They only added new tarballs. Maybe we in OBS also can try to do that?
Now that I think of it, Ark has been including several KDE 3.x patches for awile now. Most of them probably won't make it to Trinity, unless we include Mission Control, which Ark has had for ages. It basically tries to incorporate some stuff from KControl into one organized, easy to navigate place. The only thing that may not work in Trinity is the Install Packages, which points to Kynaptic (KDE port of Synaptic), and very few distros use it (even Ark is dropping it and APT-RPM in favor of RPM5 and openSuSE's zypper, we're still looking for a GUI tool though). Perhaps we can comment out the Install Packages code and alert packagers that it's there if they wish to change it?

I tried that with Fedora specs, most of the patches didn't make it. We can try it with SuSE tho, I'm all for it.
