Hello, for my professional use, I found the following tool for KDE 3.x administration : Kiosktool http://extragear.kde.org/apps/kiosktool/ ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/apps/KDE3.x/admin/
It looks like it is abandonned, but I compiled it and it works well for TDE 3.5.12 under RHEL6 ...
Could you add it to the TDE project ? I found no equivalent tool for KDE 4, so it would be another good reason to prefer TDE over KDE4 for professional use !
Thanks

Hello, the last time I checked it (about one year ago), it was still a pre-version, requiring KDE 4.4 at least, and KDE 4.5 was recommended, but on RHEL 6 we only have KDE 4.3 so it does not work at all (does not compile, missing features in kdelibs)... :-( whereas the KDE 3.x version seems stable.

Please file a needs-packaging bug on http://bugs.pearsoncomputing.net, with the following information: 1.) A link to the KDE3 version's project home page (if it still exists) 2.) A download link for the latest source code 3.) If possible, a link to the latest Debian or Ubuntu source .dsc file.
If all three points (especially the last one) are provided, then this could be included in the Trinity archives fairly quickly.
Thanks!
