While running through a number of patches, it seems that this one still has not been included in our Qt3 tree
It adds support for newer platform namings (as far as I can see) from SQLLEN and SQLINTEGER
seems to patch without a problem

in te qt3 prchet of my upload i documented taht, see: http://www.shutendouji.net/massenkoh/projects/qt3/ in this file: http://www.shutendouji.net/massenkoh/projects/qt3/changes-3.3.8c see legal taht used libodbc2 instead of unixodbc, this offers more portabili and the patch mentioned was included in tarball..
