We are pleased to announce the public release of two components of a TDE LDAP/Kerberos toolkit! The two components released today are libtdeldap and kerberostray, both of which are now accessible via TDE GIT with binary builds for Debian and Ubuntu coming shortly.
Additionally, other portions of this suite of LDAP/Kerberos tools are being offered through the TDE bounty program. These tools are geared towards enterprise users, and cover all aspects of creating, managing, and using LDAP/Kerberos realms.
For more information, screenshots, statistics, and demo videos, please visit the TDE RFE page at http://www.trinitydesktop.org/crfe/.

That's interesting; it compiled just fine on the Debian/Ubuntu build system, so I don't think any files are missing.
Did you regenerate the Autotools files (make -f admin/Makefile.common) before running configure?

Yes I did, but since I'm building on 3.5.13.1, I'm using the corresponding 'admin' folder version. Aren't ".moc" files supposed to be generated from ".ui" files ? Because I see only one ".ui" file in the src folder, whereas 3 ".moc" files are expected ... Are these LDAP-related tools supposed to build on 3.5.13.1, or are they for R14 only ?

For v3.5.13-sru I had not intended to integrating new features. I expected that it will be only bugfix branch. I'm not against it, but I suspect that the difficulty of backporting will only grow.

I didn't realise you were trying to build against 3.5.13.1. All new tools and applications that I have developed and will be releasing are for TDE
= R14 only.

OK, I think I misinterpreted the oridinal announcement. To me, it sounded like: "hey, new products were just released, download them now !" But in fact they won't be officially available (I mean, in stable TDE version) until R14 is out. I do not think that professional users (which are the target audience for these products) will use the developement version of TDE... I guess we'll have to wait some more time :-)

Sorry for the confusion! I have amended the news entry for clarity.
