I was using showfoto earlier and noticed when you load images into the viewer to prepare for a slide-show, etc, none of the thumbnails for the images are generated. I have no preview of the photos in the file-open dialog like normal

There is no icon for the 'General' setting in showfoto configuration

If you have them, then it looks like something went wrong with my build.

I know almost nothing about showfoto or how to use. I see preview images, I see thumbnails, I see a General icon in the config dialog.

According to digikam/digikam/showfoto/setup/setup.cpp:95, the icon used is showfoto.png.
