Tim,
set the root password on Ubuntu was necessary only for replacement for sudo using sudo-trinity? With 3.5.13.1 this is not necessary. Sudo-trinity is updated, so it serve as a complement to sudo from the system.
It appears that it is possible to remove the information about the known problem with libart - is also updated. I also propose to remove the instruction to add my PPA.

You are correct. Setting the root password is no longer needed.

Can I make this modifications? I ask you to avoid the fact that we did it both at the same time... :)

Go right ahead! I am currently attempting to track down some bugs and greatly appreciate the help you have given during this release. :-)
