François, Darrell,
please can you test a set of patches from the bug report 2028? In my opinion, the patches look good and I'm ready to push. Soon I make a test build on all supported Debian and Ubuntu versions. So I would like if you can test some of your distributions.

Many thanks

* Are all of the patches tdebase?
* Are any special build configuration options required?
* Are any usability tests required or is this only a build test?

- Are all of the patches tdebase?
yes
- Are any special build configuration options required?
Don't think so, only if you provide to the end user the ability to tweak build-time options for himself, like on gentoo. Anyway the set of affected options are: - WITH_XINNERAMA - WITH_XRANDR - WITH_OPENGL - WITH_LIBCONFIG (dunno, how it would affect the usability if turned off) - WITH_PCRE (ON by default)
- Are any usability tests required or is this only a build test?
Some composition-related, if you wish, but the patches shouldn't affect the usability.

I built tdebase with the five 2028 patches with no build failures. I did not attempt any usability testing.
