All,
Looking at tdeio, I selected everything in tdedebugdialog and got the wanted reams of output in .xsession-errors. Is there a way in ServiceManager, or otherwise, to simply turn tdedebugdialog output ON or OFF without having to select-all/deselect-all and then apply?

Interesting. This seems to work for everybody, but not for me. I do exactly the same thing (and tried other things as well), but I don't get anything in my .xsession-errors, not on the terminal in case I launch an application from there. Any thought? Thanks Michele

There is no question when it works -> 1.3 Meg of output dumped to .xsession-errors. To enable it, I just started tdedebugdialog -- all boxes were checked by default -- then just say OK or Apply. It should start dumping reams of data.
I just want to know if it is possible to turn it off without unchecking everything and then hitting Apply or OK again.
It just seams like there should be a [ ] checkbox in system services to start/stop tdedebugdialog (if not -- that may be a good feature request for the future) Before I did that, I thought I would check if anyone knew if it already existed.

I don't know if there is already a way available to do that. If not, I agree with you that it would be a good enhancement (if I ever can make it work on my computer :) ).
