Hi all,
try the following: Open Konqueror and in Konqueror then open /opt/trinity/bin or /bin and watch ~/.xsession-errors. You'll see a lot of warnings about the missing embedded icons.
Because many binaries do not have an embedded icon, and the user can not change it in any way, seem to me these reports unnecessary. I propose to change these messages from kdWarning to kdDebug.
What do you think about it?

Slavek, I do not see them, interesting.... It is ok for me if you want to change to kdDebug. Anyhow can you post an example, just for my reference? Cheers Michele

Patch looks ok, go ahead and push. Anyhow I am puzzled by the fact you see this errors and I don't. Do you see some items without icon in Konqueror (in /bin or /opt/trinity/bin)? In my system, all files have an icon on the left side Cheers Michele

I have Konqueror in iconv view mode. View /opt/trinity/bin directory looks like this:

I tried both icon view and detail view, no difference. All icon displayed properly. Very strange... Cheers Michele

I tried on test machine update to R14.1.0~pre == nightly-builds and here is the same problem. I have no idea what can be different with "libr" on your side, that you did not notice nor the recently discussed problem with overwriting a symlink to the real file, and so now with this warning.
Unfortunately, I can not push the patch now, because due to recently published bug in GIT, GIT on the primary server is unavailable, pending the availability of updated packages.
