having a look around to see if I could get packages for mageia 3 or mageia 4, I found a very old :

mageia was mandriva years ago, so you re probably mostly ready to provide packages for mageia, but this old mandriva repo is probably not working "as is" with latest mageia
I think quite a few mageia users could be happy to have a kde3 revived desktop, just like I am, and i d be willing to help you for mageia testing and packaging
( mageia is still a very old redhat fork , using rpm packages )

ah since its working great on mageia 4, you probably want to add mageia on the list of "Official Trinity Binaries" on http://www.trinitydesktop.org/
I ll ping you as soon as mageia 5 is out ( its still alpha release ), and test trinity on it.
