Hello
While trying to build, I keep coming accross header files from TDE that have
something like this:
//#ifdef USE_QT4
//#undef QT_NO_TRANSLATION
//#include <Qt/qtranslator.h>
//#endif // USE_QT4
Now this isn't the only one just an example. The only way TDevelop would let
me continue was if I commented these out and it would build just fine. Does
TDE use QT4 at all?

Does KAlarm support CalDAV? There is a KAlarm option to show data in KOrganizer and a manual one-time Import option, but I do not see anything allowing KAlarm to fetch or sync calendar data in real-time from a calendar server.

Hello,
I would like to convert some KDE3 apps/QT3 apps to TDE/TQT. I have downloaded
the scripts by themselves from the GIT server. I have also installed every
dev package and tools from the repos. What I would like to know is how people
have set up for this before.
TDevelop has helped me set up a /Development directory in my home. I put the
qmake and tde.h header file in the directory. I still get errors, so some
advice to get one set up will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hello,
I was trying to upgrade a Gambas 2 program to a Gambas 3 program. It got most
of the way through and crashed. Now when I start, it crashes at the startup
screen and displays this message: Qt4TDEStyle: No such file or directory.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Also, has anyone given a thought
to modifying Gambas 2 to produce TDE programs?

Why am I getting 404s trying to follow instructions on
https://wiki.trinitydesktop.org/OpenSUSEInstall
???
How can I find out what's on the main server rather than whatever mirror I'm
being directed to? FTP service doesn't seem to exist.

Dear all,
from the R14.1.x series, double clicking on an empty area (i.e. not over an item) in Konqueror's listview or iconview
will navigate to the parent folder. This is a very useful shortcut when you are navigating through folders using
Konqueror and spare you from either having to move the mouse to the "Up" arrow or using Alt+Up on the keyboard.
The functionality will also be available on the nightly builds as soon as the code can be pushed and the build farm
has rebuilt tdebase. Due to the current r14.0.x building process, the code won't be pushed for a while though.
If you are interested, you can rebuild from the current tdebase GIT code and the attached patch.
Cheers
Michele
PS: it may be worth reminding another new functionality available from the R14.0.x series, which may have gone
unnoticed to most of you. If you are renaming a file in Konqueror using a listview widget (not the iconview - yet),
you can move to the next/previous item using Tab/Shift+Tab without exiting the "rename mode". This is useful when you
need to rename several adjacent files, since you do not need to press F2 -> rename -> Enter for each file but just do
F2 -> rename -> move to next/previous item -> rename [ -> move to next/previous item -> rename --- repeat as needed]
- -> Enter

Hello,
I think I have found a bug. The KDict program crashes everytime I look up a
definition. I have dictionaries installed and running the dict program from
the command-line works like a champ. I have even set the settings to use a
localhost and still a crash everytime I hit the enter key.
The TDE Crash Handler says: The application Dictionary (kdict) crashed and
caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV). Be

Hi,as the subject says I'm wondering where I can find the debian directory for tdevelop and be able to build the package(s)?
And a second bonus questionI have ported kplayer to tde r14 but I don't know how to upload the modified code. The instructions I received are not clear to me. I also created a debian directory for this, but not sure if it should be uploaded and how to proceed with it.
thanks in advance and regards
Hi Michele, Tim, all,
I'm here again with another proposal to push patch into upcoming R14.0.1! And
I think that this one-line patch will be pushed without controversy ;)
See attachment in Bug 2454:

Hi Michele, Tim, all,
because we have in a freeze phase, I send to the approval the proposal to push
two smaller patches. Both concern building on FreeBSD.
What is your opinion - push or postpone for R14.0.2?
Cheers
