For Konsole, unfortunately Terminal and Terminator both exist.
I think Trinitype (as a name which is close to Teletype) could be a
good name, but as I'm French-speaking I can't say if it sounds good ;)
For Konqueror, the original name came from the browsers

fork of KDE3.
I for one like the k_names for all that can stay k_whatever. ALT+F2
<app I want> is second nature. Even going forward, if major apps
change names, then instead of replacing the 'k' with a 't' why not
just add a 't' in the beginning:
tkonsole (sounds a lot better than 'tonsole') and
tkonqueror (sounds a lot better than 'tonqueror')
