 The errors occur in Slackware 13.1 32-bit and 14 RC1 64-bit. Therefore  the
  error is consistent with both older and newer
gcc/g++. 
 Looks like the TQt3 build process is pulling in old headers
 from your system.  Try temporarily removing the TQt3 headers from
 your system and recompile TQt3. 
 These are build environments and not run-time environments. All Trinity
 packages are removed in the build environments before building a fresh set
 of packages. There are no remnant headers installed. Even /opt/trinity
 does not exist.

Oops!  Apparently the Compact style was not built in my test builds, so I
missed those problems.
