Just a heads up, the ABI for kate/kwrite broke in GIT hash 08c816f.
A rebuild/reinstall of tdelibs, followed by tdebase, should clear up any potential issues caused by this commit.

Are the patches in response to a bug report, to resolve the gcc 4.7 crashes, or something else?
