How many times you have been hit by unit tests failing because of environment differences between you and other team members? How easy is it to build your project and have it ready for development? TDevelop patches to be pushed

Tim, I would like to push the attached patch to the tde-packaging repo. It adds debug symbols to TDevelop. At the same time I could also push some TDevelop documentation updates that I have already made. Can I go ahead? Cheers Michele

Sorry I didn't get this comment/question in earlier... I'm one of those apparently-rare people who don't automatically make my browser the full width of the screen. As of 1 minute ago (and earlier today) the https://www.trinitydesktop.org/ page has such a width that even when my browser window is wide enough to show all the content, the horizontal scroll bar is still there. Scrolling to the right of the page just rewards me with white space. Are other people seeing this? I see it even when my browser (firefox) is 1012 pixels wide. Cheers. Jim

KDevDesigner SIGBUS

Does anyone have any problem with KDevDesigner? Since an unspecified time this year, it does not work anymore on my system. The main window actually opens but when opening a .ui file, KDevDesigner exits without any feedback. Launching from the console and repeating, reveals a BusError. Launching from gdb, the BusError is caused by MetaDataBase::includes(TQObject*) as in Program received signal SIGBUS, Bus error. #0 0x00007fffed817c40 in MetaDataBase::includes(TQObject*) () from /opt/trinity/lib/trinity/libkdevdesignerpart.so #1 0x00007fffed77f8d4 in DesignerFormWindowImpl::setImplementationIncludes(TQStringList const&) () from /opt/trinity/lib/trinity/libkdevdesignerpart.so #2 0x00007fffeafbe79b in LanguageInterfaceImpl::definitionEntries (this=<optimized out>, definition=..., designerIface=<optimized out>) at languageinterfaceimpl.cpp:132 #3 0x00007fffed7ad03f in FormDefinitionView::setup() () from /opt/trinity/lib/trinity/libkdevdesignerpart.so #4 0x00007fffed7ad89c in HierarchyView::setFormWindow(FormWindow*, TQObject*) () from /opt/trinity/lib/trinity/libkdevdesignerpart.so But on a VM environment I have no problem. Toothsaw visible in horizontal stripe in BugZilla

Hi, I saw that on the new graphic files used at the top of the BugZilla, there is visible toothsaw on the horizontal stripe. It is cause by having took the repeated horizontal part right in the beginning of the curve of the ribbon. A quick fix for it would be either: 1. Redo as it should the repeated part 2.Shrink the repeated part to 1 pixel wide. It would look better than in the following screenshot! -Alexandre

Renaming packaging requests on bug tracker

Hello, the bugtracker contains several requests for new applications/packages. But the bug reports have inconsistent titles, and it's not convenient to find them. I suggest we rename them with a prefix, like we did for "build issue", to make them easier to find. E.g. bug #134 that I've discovered today could be renamed "[package request] Mathemagics" François

Tim, I see some preparatory patches for moving to libmagic for mime detection. Will these patches cause breakage until completed? If yes, please post something to the list when the conversion is complete or ready for testing. Darrell

tdebase FTBFS caused by commit f4dab230

Tim, commit f4dab230 breaks tdebase. It refers to a popupmenutop.cpp and .h files that do no exists. Reverting to commit 4724b1a is ok to build tdebase. Perhaps you forgot to push the mentioned files. Cheers Michele
