We are, actually, agreeing with you. KOffice is staying.
I just wanted to chime in that embedded viewers in Konqueror kind of suck,
especially the image viewer :)
I'm all up for integration on a desktop, I just never saw quality in KOffice
to justify using it. If it can be kept around, that is a plus either way.
Let's just hope it doesn't break :)

Konqueror like a web page. You can imbed web pages in your documents
as well.
And who would want that? I certainly wished the default behavior on
Konqueror was to open always in external viewers, which don't suck.
