Can this module be supported in the Trinity control center?

Not important to me but me be a nice touch if possible.

Hi all,
I do not know how I could help. My native language is French and I
could always test. So tell me!
I am currently in an unstable situation, trying to move to Ubuntu lucid
after leaving my precious OSS 10.3 that is still on my disk(s)... I
write this mail while downloading KDE 3.5.11 as described in
http://apt.pearsoncomputing.net/install.html ... So I'm waiting for the
test. I do not know if I'll ever go back to the OSS 10.3 (for reasons
other than the test) because of how OSS 10.3 deals servers, especially
Apache.
My box is powered by an AMD 2800 + processor Semptron with 2GB RAM,
500G SATA HD 1x and 3x Pata 80G.
I am a 57 year old man who paid the first version of Suse (6.x). I
wonder how many people did not accept the attitude of Novell ...
Good luck to everyone,
Patrick
Hello guys. Thanks for you work. KDE 3.5 with your effort become much better.
And I would like to request new feature: DSL connection in knetworkmanager (http://bugs.trinitydesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=495)
I can pay for it 20$.
Thank you for you time.

To build arts (3.5.12) from the stable repository, with autoconf,
I applied a little sed substitution :
$ cp -vp /usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4 admin/libtool.m4.in &&
$ cp -vp /usr/share/libtool/config/ltmain.sh admin/ltmain.sh &&
$ make -f admin/Makefile.common &&
$ sed -e 's/qiomanager_p.h qiomanager_p.moc/qiomanager_p.h > qiomanager_p.moc/'
-i qtmcop/Makefile.in
and then ./configure ... && make && make install
It may help.

Today I updated LibreOffice to version 3.4.2. The Slackware package is nothing more than a converted RPM from the upstream Open Document Foundation (ODF).
There is no support for KDE3 file picker dialog boxes. No option even exists in the Options.
I'm using 3.5.10, which is not Trinity, but I'm guessing if the upstream RPM from ODF is like this then Trinity likely gets miffed too.
How do we convince the ODF developers to directly provide KDE3/Trinity support upstream when they build their official release?

It was a quiet bug day... so that's not really ideal.
This means I'll have to have at least another one before the release.
Just a reminder, meeting tonight 1900 EDT.

My schedule has prevented me from actively participating in testing svn and building packages. I'm hoping my schedule improves this autumn and I can again start testing.
I have been monitoring this list and have not seen any status reports. I browsed the wiki and found no clues about the project status. What main suite packages now compile under cmake and which ones don't?
Second, has anybody deeply involved in the testing phase checked that the wiki is current? Somebody like me who has been away for a while needs accurate documentation whenI start testing and packaging. :)
Thanks.
Darrell
I've been slacking on the date - sorry. (coughhomeworkcough)
Next meeting is scheduled for next tuesday, hopefully around 2 PM EDT.
Speak up for any date/time changes.

So I was approached with the idea that weekends might be better,
because more people are available and more testing can be done. Kudos
to Calvin.
Because I cannot push it further back than it already is, I have moved
it forward.
Bug Day is now 20 August 2011.
Fixing bugs will be done all day. Rally at 1400 EDT (if anyone wants
to make a mad dash at fixing bugs as many as possible, that is.)
Wrap-Up Meeting (August meeting) will be 1900 EDT.
As usual, #trinity-desktop-meeting.
If you don't already have an account on btd, you should probably create one.

And last but not least, we need all the help we can get :)
(PS: No nightly builds needed, 3.5.12 works too ^_^)
