Quick note for developers/packagers. Meta packages in TDE code were located in two subfolders (defaultsettings and metapackages). They have now been consolidated into the metapackages folder. "defaultsettings" does not exist any longer. Cheers Michele

[tde-devels][mageia] upgrade from 14.previous to 14.current fails to install trinity-tdelibs

From IRC: a-865 why do upgrades from 14.previous to 14.current on Mageia always fail to install trinity-tdelibs due to unsatisfied /etc/ssl/certs/ca-bundle.crt? I have to download with wget and install with rpm -Uvh --nodeps. a-865 might be a 32bit thing a-865 /etc/ssl/certs/ca-bundle.crt exists SlavekB For problems with RPM packages, it is better to send mail to mailing list because François usually is not here on IRC. SlavekB It is possible that the file is physically, but there is no RPM package that declared it belongs to it? a-865 ca-bundle.crt is a symlink to /etc/pki/ca-trust/extracted/openssl/ca-bundle.trust.crt, which is owned by rootcerts-20201201.00-1.mga7 End IRC Oops. ca-bundle.crt is a symlink to /etc/pki/ca-trust/extracted/pem/tls-ca-bundle.pem which is owned by rootcerts-20201201.00-1.mga7. Mageia 8 was officially released 26 February

Users await a TDE build for it I suppose what, maybe 2-3 weeks? Debian bullseye and python3

Hi, I am sure you know the answer to my question. I decided to get ready for bullseye and I see that bullseye is moving to python3. However tdebindings is still on python2.7. What is the recommended TDE approach on that? thank you

Primary mirror outage

We're aware of the primary mirror outage. Provider had scheduled a reboot which should have taken less than a minute but they seem to be having problems as we've been locked our for nearly an hour now. More when I have it. --Mike

The Settings => Composer Configure documentation in the kMail Handbook does not match kMail

The kMail Handbook describes the following tabs in the Composer page of the Configure dialog: General Phrases Subject Charset Headers Attachments however, when I open this page, I see General Templates Custom Templates Subject Charset Headers Attachment so there is description of a tab that doesn't exist, but no descriptions for two that do exist. Identification|version string for Trinity

Most (all?) distros have some sort of file in /etc to identify itself; e.g. mine has /etc/SUSE-brand, which contains | openSUSE | VERSION = 15.2 (as seen below). Is there a file like this somewhere in the Trinity setup that I can add to my email templates so that I don't forget to do it manually? I have added | %SYSTEM="uname -a" | %SYSTEM="cat /etc/SUSE-brand" but I'd like to have something that shows my Trinity version as well.
