I have long pondered the idea of some kind of a mascot contest. The mascot is, in some
part, the emotional soul of the project, and keeping the old version of another
project's mascot around is not a good sign.
There seemed to be some sort of proposal for such a contest several years ago, but the
discussion stalled. I'd like to take the chance of proposing this again, in the form
of a community artwork contest (which could take place on the Wiki). It's a simple
proposal, but it would be a big leap forward in terms of project distinction IMO.

Ok, as there's a "T" in the name, the mascot sould definitly be
