That's not the problem. $ file ~/.trinity/share/config/kmailrc --> UTF-8 Unicode text, with very long lines
The second line is very long. Maybe that's the trouble but to figure out, we would have to look into the sources: kdelibs/kio/kmimemagic.cpp
