This is probably the same curl issue that was
discussed in another thread.
To workaround, try to add option to
/etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg.
At the top of the file, there is a section (by
default, it's empty):
{
}
In that section, add the following line so that it
looks like this:
{
curl-options: -L
}
Then try again.
curl-options: -L --remote-time
did the trick.
BTW, I did it twice. The first time I forgot to switch repos from cauldron to 8
soon enough after (or before) 8 official release, so that install turned into 9,
while using 8 repos for TDE. It works well. I then cloned 7, and upgraded the
clone to get a straight 8.
