Since one year I follow SailFish OS, because I am looking forward to replace
my Nokia N9 phone. I think it (Mer) is very good project, especially for
mobile or tablets. Unfortunately I do not have the time to dive deeper into
the project.
I just want to point out that Qt5 is not exactly heavy for such low power
devices, so your statement is not exactly true regarding this. It uses also
systemd for good or for bad. I think the problem with the Qt5 experience
lies with the KDE philosophy.
