From what I remember for a couple years ago, with some slight reworking with the interface and adding some document templates, it should be doable for both personal and professional.
I think it is hard to justify developing an entire suite however, on top of a desktop environment. I'd much rather effort be put towards TDE integration into LOffice, where there is a team of 100+ developers working on it.
I say we leave KOffice how it is, for people who need it, then focus on Loffice (i think this is already the plan?)
I think we should either bring it up to par with other office suites, or drop it altogether. I'm completely impartial to either. I personally don't use it, but with some improvement I'd definitely try it again.
