From what I remember for a couple years ago, with some slight reworking with the interface and adding some document templates, it should be
doable
for both personal and professional.
I think it is hard to justify developing an entire suite however, on top
of
a desktop environment. I'd much rather effort be put towards TDE integration into LOffice, where there is a team of 100+ developers
working
on it.
I say we leave KOffice how it is, for people who need it, then focus on Loffice (i think this is already the plan?)
I think we should either bring it up to par with other office suites, or drop it altogether. I'm completely impartial to either. I personally don't use it, but with some improvement I'd definitely try it again.
Well there are certain applications like Krita that are not replaceable, and no other programs currently provide their functions.
