Hi people,
I founded a solution about Trinity DE and bluetooth, at least to connect a
telephone and transfer files from/to.
As everyone know the kde bluetooth stack doesn''t work in our kde/trinity,
so, after a lot of attemps, I use with succes a workaround on Blueman with
konqueror. Here the steps:
1. install blueman: *apt-get install blueman*
2. start it from shell or reboot system or reboot trinity session
3. right-click on bluetooth (blueman) icon in the panel
4. select "Local Services.."
5. in the windows that is opened click "transfer" in the left menu and
after on "advanced"
6. now delete the existing command (nautilus --obex etc. etc.) and
replace with: *konqueror obex://[%d]/* (VERY IMPORTANT THE BRACKETS: *[ ]
*", without it doesn't work)
7. apply the modifications and close the windows
8. right-click on blueman icon in the panel and select "Browse files on
device..." choose the device and.. enjoy

Finally, more than 3 months after discovering Trinity, I've bitten the bullet.
I've nuked KDE4 and installed Trinity. My desktop now feels like it's mine
again.
The upgrade wasn't entirely smooth. It took a bit of effort to make sure KDE4
was completely wiped and a fair number of Gnome packages seemed to be
collateral damage in the Trinity installation. I don't think anything
important went.
After installing trinity, I no longer had a graphical login and startx gave me
Gnome desktop. I tried "dpkg-reconfigure kdm-trinity", which failed because
kdm-trinity wasn't installed! After installing kdm-trinity, the desktop looks
good and seems much more responsive than KDE4.
The only other glitches so far were kmail complaining about corrupt indexes
and not finding my incoming email settings. After the indexes were rebuilt
and I replaced the missing incoming account, it seems to be working well.
I haven't been using Trinity long enough to be entirely confident, but it's
looking nice and I'm sure I won't go back to KDE4.

On the Desktop the contents of ~/Desktop are no longer displayed. Instead, the
contents of my home directory (~) appear. How do I get the old condition
back?
I've reinstalled Trinity, but I'm not sure what I've done leading to this.

Anyone ever build trinity for a G3 IMAC,, I'd love to upgrade debian to squeeze,
but can't find a package for it.

A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking.
I'm having an issue with my daughter's netbook that I just upgraded from
lenny to squeeze. The main problem is that it is 2100 miles away. In any
case, I did the upgrade according to the squeeze release notes.
When I did the upgrade, I changed the sources.list to point to squeeze,
including trinity.
However, it deinstalled kde-trinity, kdemultimedia-trinity and
kdewebdev-trinity. So after the upgrade, I tried to reinstall.
# apt-get install kde-trinity kdemultimedia-trinity kdewebdev-trinity

I've been happily using Trinity for a couple of weeks, and needed to
reinstall it after changing distros -- but the GPG keyserver (command
copied from instructions) is coming up as host not found. Here's what
I get from a nslookup:
Server: 156.154.71.16

** server can't find keyserver.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net: NXDOMAIN
PS. Thank you (to anyone working on the project) for creating, working
on, and hosting Trinity. I first installed Linux in Spring 2008 and
KDE 3 was what made me fall in love with it!
