libogg0 conflicts with libogg0:i386 under ubuntu precise

Hi folks, I'm using trinity on a 64 bit Ubuntu precise (12.04) installation and I want to report a very annoying bug caused by a package conflict of libogg0 from the trinity repository: https://bugs.launchpad.net/trinity-desktop/+bug/977103 Since trinity's libogg0 conflicts with Ubuntu libogg0:i386 several 32 bit applications such as adobe reader can no longer be installed on 64 bit trinity installations. Is there really a conflict between libogg0 and libogg0:i386 that needs to be in the package definition or can one just remove this tag? Best Regards, Stefan

Wheezy amd64 Slavek repo. key binding 'ctl+a' used to select all messages in a folder, then 'ctl + j' would apply filters to the selected messages. 'ctl + a" not longer selects all messages. What happened? -- Peace, Greg

Release date for R14?

Hi, I wanted to ask about current status of R14. I found the roadmap here: http://trinity.etherpad.trinitydesktop.org/39? Are things going more or less according to this schedule and we can expect R14 in a month or so? I'm asking because I'm planning to update to Wheezy on one of my machines, but I can delay it for a month or two and just install R14 without bothering to upgrade from 3.5.13.2. Janek

amarok

I've been checking out the amarok-3.5.13.2 package. What ever happened with the MYSQL integration since the 3.5.13 release? --and I tried to compile an older version 1.4.10 . It errors out with a KDE error ---- sounds like something else removed from KDE, or my bad setup. checking for KDE... configure: error: I can't find the designer plugins. These are required and should have been installed by kdelibs root [ /sources/amarok-1.4.10/build ]# Meanwhile, I know there was some releases in between 1.4 and 3.5.13. I'll look for one of them. amarok-trinity not updated by 3.5.13.2 on Debian/Wheezy

Hi there. I just successfully updated to 3.5.13.2 - go team! As it turns outthe upgrade wasn't a complete upgrade due to missing updated packages for Wheezy. I used apt-get update && apt-get upgrade as root. Here's what it said. The following packages have been kept back: amarok-engine-xine-trinity amarok-trinity kdeaddons-trinity kdeedu-trinity kdemultimedia-trinity kig-trinity libarts1-xine-trinity noatun-plugins-trinity It seems that amarok-common-trinity isn't available in 3.5.13.2 yet. Good distro for 586 computer

Hi everyone! I might not write it at the right place, but here is my question: I bought on EBay a Compaq TC1000 convertible tablet pc at a low price. It has a Transmeta Crusoe TM5800 1ghz CPU and I installed +-360mb of ram on it. The trouble is that this CPU emulates a 586 cpu only... ...and most modern distros are 686 and up... I tried Mageia and even if it is supposed to be 586, it causes kernel panic. I also tried Debian 7.2 and it works at least partly, but as in the Debian way of doing things, it asks me to go online to fetch the driver I'd need to go online... Grrr! Does someone here know of a good distro to use (or that actually boots) on a 586 CPU? Thank you in advance! -Alexandre

You have a folder ~/.trinity/share/apps/kwinrulesrc?

Hello Darrell, everybody, I noticed that skrit r14-xdg-update solved renaming kwinrulesrc in ~/.trinity/share/apps instead of ~/.trinity/share/config (I've had it on my computers). In commit 37e840ac I tried to fix it. However, as I subsequently noticed script expecting in the 'apps' folder 'kwinrulesrc' but on my system I have in the 'config' file 'kwinrules'. Please, have anyone kwinrules as a folder in ~/.trinity/share/apps or only exists a file in ~/.trinity/share/config? Thanks, Slavek
