HOW To configure in order to use apt-get ?

Good morning.Now that I can setup a mobile connection, i want to use it todownload packages. However, no matter which I try to installusing apt-get, I always get the same error message. For instance,trying to install alien produce the following :--------------------------- manghi@silverblack:~$ sudo apt-get install alien Lettura elenco dei pacchetti... HELP NEEDED for mobile !!!

Good Morning to Everyone.I've just downloaded and installed a pre-built Maverick (Ubuntu 10.10) with Trinityon an old TOSHIBA Satellite U-200. I would be verry happy to drop KDE4.x, which I don'tlike at all, and keep my old good (very very good) KDE 3.5. I was having troubles with wireless, but they are solved and now wireless is OK.Unfortunately, now I'm not managing to setup a mobile connection through a huaweiusb key. Is there some guide about how to configure a mobile connection under Trinity ?ThanksDaniele Manghi

Trinity 3.5.12 RPM for EL6

Problems connecting to a router

Good morning. I've installed Kubuntu(Maverick)+Trinity from your preassembledbinary distribution, to replace my old Fedora 8 - still retaining a KDE 3.5, with which Iwas very happy, instead of getting a KDE 4.x. All seemed OK, but,unfortunately, I am not able anymore to connect through wi-fi to the Linux system which was acting as my router to the Internet. The connecting procedure works if I configurethis wi-fi connection with fixed IP address and DNS address. It breaks at the IP configuration step if I configure this connection as DHCP-based (as I was used to). I did not changed absolutely nothing in the router configuration, so I was expecting all would have worked seamlessly. I realized that, with DHCP, the connection from router to Internet must be ok for all to work well, butit is certainly so, because I can access the Internet from the router's desktop. Do you have any idea of which the problem could be ?ThanksDaniele Manghi

So I was approached with the idea that weekends might be better, because more people are available and more testing can be done. Kudos to Calvin. Because I cannot push it further back than it already is, I have moved it forward. Bug Day is now 20 August 2011. We'll be fixing bugs all day, so feel free to drop in and report to us!
