audacity does not read mp3

I have trinity on fedora 17. I need to import mp3 with Audacity, and as far as I know, Audacity shuld be able to do so, but the trinity version does not

kdeinit!

I've just installed TDE and J have one problem. When I start TDE session error pops up: Could not start kdeinit. Check your installation. I click ok and system is starts normal. I run commend: janek@linux-fay4:~> ps -e|grep kdeinit 4707 ? 00:00:00 kdeinit kdeinit is running. kdenlive for openSUSE 12.2

What are Trinity users who want Kdenlive using? KDE3 version? KDE4 version? Does Trinity have its own version I haven't discovered? Something else? If I choose the KDE3 version, zypper wants to install a total of 6 packages. kmail, TDE, openSuSE 12.3, top posting

Hello all, I just installed TDE on openSuSE 12.3. Things run fine, however I noticed that kmail now top-posts !?! I've tried modifying the templates, but nothing happens. I guess the changes are not being written/read? It's setup in kmailrc? It was OK before, but then I was running KDE 3.5.10 so... Thierry

Making work a theme made for the old pixmap theme engine of KDE 2

Hi everyone! I'm currently looking at making work a pixmap-based theme on TDE 3.5.13.2 From what I could understand, during the KDE3 era, pixmap-based themes were deprecated and replaced by programmed themes, which are not based on lots of small images, as it was in KDE2. But, they are said to still work on KDE3. The point is not especially to use this theme, but to try to create a new one. Here is the URL of the theme I'm trying to make work on TDE: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=153&forumpage=16 I adapted the path in the install script to make it point to the TDE folders and I followed the readme file, but the theme appears without its images, which makes it useless and not working... Is there someone here who would know how to make it work on TDE? Thank you in advance! -Alexandre

Calendars and IMAP

Korganiser suggests: "Calendar on IMAP Server via KMail... Most IMAP servers can be used to hold calendar and address book resources, allowing you to use access your data from just anywhere! " Has anyone tried this recently? If so, how does it work? I have tried all the obvious things, and looked at kolab, which is way more powerful than what I want to do.
