Hi guys,
after a successful move I have finally setup my server again. It
should be available immediately or dns might take a while for your dns
server to propagate

Hi everybody,
just thought about giving an update of where we are with the development of v14.0.0.
Back in March we made a list of bugs to fix before the next release. Such list was made up of a total of 115 bugs (31 of which "conditional" ones).
The list has grown a little bit to a total of 123 bugs and so far we have solved 78 of them (approx 63%), plus some more (approx 10) that we didn't add to the list even if they should have been.
It's taking longer than expected, but we all have just spare time for TDE and we are trying our best. Even if slowly, we are step-by-step edging towards finalizing v14.0.0.
How long more will it take? Can't give a precise answer, but based on the experience so far I would say between 3 to 5 months to get to the bottom of that list and be ready for the first release candidate.
As usual, you can keep up with the current development status either:
- on bugszilla bug 2014 (http://bugs.pearsoncomputing.net/show_bug.cgi?id=2014)
- or on the TDE etherpad (http://trinity.etherpad.trinitydesktop.org/39)
Cheers
Michele
Hello,
The update of binutils in jessie (debian testing) breaks trinity:
Most trinity packages depends on libr0.
libr0 depends on binutils (< 2.24.51.20140618)
binutils in jessie is now 2.24.51.20140709-1

Hello
This is very odd (using Kubuntu 10.04, trinity 3.5.13), I set
"Control '"c to change keyboard layout. (I have 3 keyboards configured)
Sometimes, but not always when hitting "Control '" the keyboard does not
change but slowly X freezes and I have to turn off the machine, since no key is
working!
Has somebody observed something similar?

Please, hijack away. :-) This is a serious issue in this current age of
spying/hacking, and I don't fully understand why it is still occurring for
a handful of users.
Can you please post any of the TDE-related lines (e.g. anything starting
with ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net) from your /etc/apt/sources.list
file and from any files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ ?
Thanks!
Tim

Hi Guys,
Just installed Alexandre's live CD PCLinuxOS with Trinity Desktop.
If you look in "Trinity Control Center" "KDE Components" Component
Chooser and Default Applications, contain the same options and for
all intents and purpose are identical except for the name.
Now got this installed on at least half a dozen machines and it seems
to be OK. Thanks Alexandre.

Hello
I just realized that libQtNetwork.so.4:
is part of
libqt4-network
So I tried to remove this package but then I am told that 154 package
will be removed, which I refused.
Now when I tried
Sudo apt-get install (it is already installed) then instead of uprading
apt-get offers me to install 20 addional packages
libphonon4 libqt4-assistant libqt4-dbus libqt4-designer libqt4-help libqt4-opengl
libqt4-qt3support libqt4-script libqt4-scripttools libqt4-sql
libqt4-sql-mysql libqt4-sql-sqlite libqt4-svg libqt4-test
libqt4-webkit libqt4-xml libqt4-xmlpatterns libqtcore4 libqtgui4
I am really puzzled.
