Hi
I'm trying to get skype sound to work but apparently the monkeys at MS removed
alsa support and replaced it with pulse, which is rubbish. Even though I have
pulse enable (pclos - ali's remaster), it still doesn't show up. Is there a
fix to re-enable alsa or the like?

Hi there.
I've got a really great Amarok playlist of songs that I find help me
concentrate.
I've looked for a means of playing such a playlist on Android without
success.
If anyone has succeeded in porting a TDE program to Android it would
maybe bring this dream a little closer.
Please tell me I'm not the only one with such a dream :)

Hi all,
I have TDE 3.5.13.2 installed on Debian 7.10. Some time ago (probably after one of security
updates) my KPowerSave stopped working - it does not allow me to set power scheme nor does it
recognize whether the laptop is running on battery or A/C. These features still work in other
programs (eg. htop recognizes whether I am running on battery or A/C, I can use cpufreq-set to
set CPU speed) so this is not a system-wide breakage. Does anyone have any ideas what might be
wrong?

Hello,
This is the second time that I have this message on boot of TDE :
"There was an error setting up interprocess for TDE.
Could not read network connection list
~/..DCOP server_debian-room_0
Please check thant the DCOP server is running !"
I press OK and no bad result after booting on TDE.
What happens et what to do to avoid the message ?
Thanks by advance.
André

HI Alessandro
Try removing all the temp files. On both the host and the guest.
Reboot and try again.
It's just a guess based on a previous experience with TDE.
Good luck lad,
Kate
Hi Kate,
I tried as you suggested with no success, but I believe I found out the issue.
Before login in TDM, I selected "Safe Session" and tried login which failed (as almost expected); so I selected "TDE" session again and it worked (even if I do not why).
Anyway, thanks for the help.
Cheers,
Alessandro

Hi,
I'm trying to compile kdebindings, so I can start programming in python.
First of all, not having a configure or CMakeList.txt file is confusing,
and I really don't know how to compile it.
But besides, python/README says:
----
PyQt may be downloaded from this URL:
http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/software/pyqt/download3
----
That URL no longer exists. They are now here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pyqt/files/
So, Should I install pyqt3, pykde3 and sip from there?
Cheers,
