I experienced the problem after I finally did a major update. Maybe it
is a udev vs evdev thing.
I do not have this probem on MX (you know, the old Mepis / Antix related
distro).
Funny thing is I cannot find xsettings or something there.
If only I would know where to look I could compare :)
There is a EXEGNU LiveCD with Trinity, if I recall correctly it is
working well there.

What about this methode of mounting removeable devices on FreeBSD:
- add user to "operator" group
- sysctl vfs.usermount=1
- add a ~/media folder
- mount the device on ~/media/[NAME] (which is owned by user and does not require root password)
Would this be a viable way?

Although changes have been made to the primary archive and the layout has

Since last upgrade of tdm,
tdm doesn't start automatically as before and why ?
The system starts in konsole mode.
I have to login as root and type :
# killall tdm
and tdm starts.
Even if /etc/rc1.d to /et/rc6.d and rcS.d = K19tdm OR S19tdm :
system starts in konsole mode.
tdm is in /etc/init.d/
I use "sysv-rc-conf" to put K or S.
What is the difference between tdm and tdm-trinity ?

Hello TDE users/developers:
I am using debian/buster now since it's release. I am also using the
"preliminary stable builds" of TDE using the following location:
deb http://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity-sb buster deps-r14 main-r14
I still have a couple of problems remaining. Perhaps I can get this one
fixed first.
I have set my screen to be blanked (it can be any of the options on
configure - kdesktop). It will not automatically blank or lock. I can
manually blank and lock it, and it works as expected. Only the
automatic method by waiting a set amount of time is not working.
How can I diagnose and fix this problem. I have used other
screensavers, and this is the only one that is giving me problems, and
this is the one I prefer (from within TDE).

Hi!
After i upgraded to buster two weeks ago, sound mixer applet stopped
saving/reading its settings, so every time i boot my pc i am presented with
"Select Mixer" and have to set channels again. There is
kmix_panelapplet_0evyw8vqwb0hupdm6thw_rc in ~/.trinity/share/config with
the timestamp of update and simingly correct values, but its not read or
something?
