I can't logoff or shutdown in TDE using lightdm in Linux Mint

Guys, I can't logoff or shutdown in TDE using lightdm. I don't want to use TDM cuz I need to upgrade my Linux Mint. In TDS I use konsole and type shutdown -h now to shutdown my computer in TDE.

While I don't understand why lightdm should be necessary to update Mint (is Ubuntu based, no?), you can also install both lightdm and tdm and switch from one to the other.
