Where is the notification popup timeout stored?
I have several cron jobs that have been running for years with
notify-send --expire-time=0. The popups remain active until explicitly
acknowledged, but in TDE the popups timeout at about 6 to 7 seconds and
close.
Does TDE ignore notify-send timeout parameters?
Is there a preferred way to create persistent notifications in TDE?
Thanks again.
When using tree or list view, is there a Konqueror setting for the file
date stamp format or is the date stamp hard-coded to using the TDE short
date format?
Thanks.
I know this once worked as expected but my Konsole sessions no longer
display bold fonts.
Is there a config setting I am overlooking?
I tried different fonts and schema.
Ideas?
Thanks.

Hello,
I'm used to writing my password on the numpad, but it's always locked when I open the computer. I tried enabling the numlock from trinity control center, but it's only enabling it after logging in.
Is there a way to enable it on the login screen? If not, it would be great to see something like this in the settings.
Hi All,
When selecting not to use any login splash there is nonetheless some
kind of mini startup dialog. The dialog does not appear when using a
splash or possibly is hidden by the splash. Is there a way to disable
this mini startup dialog? None should mean none.
Thanks for your time!

Hello,
I was thinking tonight that it would be nice if the Message List in kMail could show the
sizes of messages. Imagine my surprise when I looked at the Settings => Appearance,
Message List tab and discovered that there is such a setting, and it is turned on. (See
attached screenshot.)
Does anyone have an idea about why the size does not appear in the list?

Hello,
The french encoding "West European 8859-15" in Kmail,
is not memorized.
So, I have to put it again at each mail sending,
otherwise, Kmail refuses to send the mail.
How to break free of tne encoding ?
Thanks, Cheers,

Hello,
I installed Trinity from scratch on Debian 11 Stable. However, I am having trouble opening the default applications in Firefox and other GTK+ applications. The same goes for xdg-mime. Since Trinity apps are in /opt/trinity/share/applications/tde, xdg-mime and GIO can't see them and doesn't apply them even if I set them correctly. For example, even if I do "xdg-mime default /opt/trinity/share/applications/tde/kpdf.desktop application/pdf" or "xdg-mime default kpdf.desktop application/pdf", it doesn't work at all.
So, my question is: How can I sync the Trinity Control Center>TDE Components>File Associations list to both xdg-mime and gio? Or how can we export a mimeinfo file that uses trinity desktop files to .config f or a directory shared by gio and xdg-mime?
