I just upgrade (new installation) from Kubuntu 10.04 to 14.04,
I followed the instructions as found in
https://wiki.trinitydesktop.org/UbuntuInstall
however I obtained the following error (after a while)
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/kubuntu-default-settings-trinity_4%3a14.0.3-0ubuntu
14.04.0+0_all.deb E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg
returned an error code (1)
what can I do?

Please, you can find some detailed information in the dpkg statement?
Previous
information is not sufficient to determine what led to the error.
