Glad to help however I can, just glad it worked out for the best!
And again, thanks so much for your efforts!
Take care, Chris.

Hi Chris,
My IRC ignorance is shining through! ;-) I had tried to register as a Freenode partner organization earlier with no success; I was unaware of the /register command in the channel itself until very recently.
The official IRC information has been added to the main Trinity page.
Thanks for your patience and assistance!
Tim
Hello Tim,
Registering a channel on Freenode is too easy is the problem :-).
What I put together is in no way official.
If you wish I can certainly drop #trinitykde3 and set up whatever you wish.
Also no problem in turning over the channel, I only put it together so folks would have a place to chat.
To set up a channel: [deleted all that :) ]
:-) never mind, I see someone already did it, #trinitykde3 has been dropped.
Thanks VERY much for your efforts!
Take care, Chris

I was the one that setup trinity but Tim said they had one already.
<snip>
#trinity is taken by an A.I. project, and #trinitykde3 uses the KDE trademark in its name. How about #trinity-desktop ? That is the one I tried to register long ago.
If you want to try to register it, please go ahead. The only thing I would ask is that I also receive channel operator permissions.
Thanks!
Tim
