I just googled what my issue could be and tried

Nope, IMPORT is still greyed out in KMAIL.
I am just going to have to wait it out until someone can answer me,
lol, I am STUMPED.
What kmail are you trying to use? AFAIK Akonadi belongs to KDE, and is not
used by TDE.
There is no IMPORT in TDE's kmail. It should be File -> Import messages and
it opens a window named KMailCVT Import tool that gives you access to the
different import formats.
This is KMAIL 1.9.10
AH HA! I figured it out. I had to install TDEKMAILCVT.
For some reason that package was not installed.
I am now able to use KMAIL.
My Final question is, where does KMAIL store email? And how do I back it up.
in EVO, I just go to FILE > Make backup and it tar.gz's the whole directory
for me.

Chris
