I use my own package "kicklist" to
install Trinity.
If I recognise a meta (eg kde-core-trinity) it's off the list.

We too use our own kicklist/seedlist to work around
such conflicts but somehow I had failed to notice
that kde-core-trinity was meta. This helps a lot.
In any event, it would be great if the desktop-base and
sudo issues could be resolved so that people can migrate
smoothly from Debian Lenny to Squeeze+Trinity.
