Hello, all :-)
I am building a computer on which I would like to run Wheezy, but with
Trinity DE, of course. Is this a feasible ambition given a) my technical
ability (or lack of it!!) and b) the existence of you lot?
If so, should I, in your estimation, go for a 3.5.14 daily build or stick
to 3.5.13.1? Or would it be more sensible to stick to Squeeze?
Thanks!

Hi Lisi,
for me seems like a good option Squeeze + Backports + TDE 3.5.13.1.
I use exactly this combination.

Thanks, Slavek and Greg.
I am only just finally abandoning Lenny and 3.5.10! In the ordinary way, I
would have gone straight to Wheezy to avoid yet again clinging to Old Stable
like grim death. But using Trinity in a stable manner is obviously more
important, since this is my main desktop. (I am reusing my old case, so
superficially nothing is changing!)
I don't change hardware often, and aim to do a bit of future-proofing. (I
built the recently ousted desktop in 2004!) but it is hopefully OK with
Linux. I'll report back!!
But I asked for advice, and am basically hearing what I expected. I'll go
with Squeeze+backports+3.5.13.1.
Thanks again, Greg and Slavek.
