does this happen on a new installation with a new user account? or after transferring an
existing user? I wonder if it
could be related to some custom entries in the menu.
Never that I can remember on new. Is this a kind of thing that could be
xdg-related? I deny the creation of useless subdirectories in $HOME, such as:
~/Music
~/Pictures
~/Videos
But, if that was the reason, I would expect all accounts would be affected.
