Has someone also encountered that it takes much longer to start the TDE
session after recent updates?
I have the impression that the first start after an upgrade + reboot +
login takes much longer than what was before.

Yes I've
noticed it takes TDE longer to load.
As for the r14-xdg-update script error. I always get that after a major
update.
All I do is this.
I comment out everything from line 315 to line 340. Fixes the problems, sort
of.
