I tried adding Slávek's gpg key with:
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver pks.gpg.cz --recv-keys ED1F4884
but the packages were still unauthenticated.
Installation consisted of:
sudo aptitude install kubuntu-default-settings-trinity
kubuntu-desktop-trinity
but I'm getting xdg compliance errors which I have to <Ok> to get past.
I haven't seen that green ball in the system tray since kde 3.5!

is almost certainly:

Yes, it is absolutely right! On 'preliminary-stable-builds' are packages
for Ubuntu 15.04 (Vivid) already available.
